Animal Collage Pt. 1 - 6/21

The animal collage that the artists are working on is a multi-day process to create. Students have really shown excitement with this activity, and are eager to see what our next step for the activity. On Friday, the artists worked on painting paper with tempera paint, and used a variety of tools to create their artwork - tools including bubble wrap, their hands, and brushes, and used a variety of techniques to create each page.

I did tell each student that as they were creating their artwork, they needed to be aware that their papers were part of a community effort, and the papers would be cut into pieces for the next step.
